The Forbidden West<\/a> proved to be a fantastic story arc for Aloy, and as the franchise increases in popularity for both PlayStation and PC, many are already looking toward Horizon 3. Because Forbidden West just released in early 2022, there isn’t a lot to go on for the next game in the series.<\/p>\n

However, with the obvious success of the post-post-apocalypse games, there is just enough information circulating to start the conversation on Horizon 3. In this article, we’ll go over what the sequel could entail and when the next game may release in the future.<\/p>\n

Horizon 3 Release Date<\/h2>\n

So far, there is no concrete release date for the next Horizon game. But that doesn’t mean we don’t know it’s on the way. In an interview with VG247<\/a>, the Guerrilla Games Creative Director, Mathijs de Jonge, discussed what could be next for Aloy in her adventures.<\/p>\n

It has already been confirmed that the breadcrumbs left behind at the end of Forbidden West were no accident and there is yet another story on the way. “And, indeed, this game ends with another big cliffhanger, where we’re setting up some things for the next game once again,” he said.<\/p>\n
