Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse has previously stated that they try not to recreate real-world observances<\/strong><\/a> like Halloween to adhere to the game’s lore<\/strong>. While this may be practiced by other notable gacha games like GranBlue Fantasy and Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia, the same can’t be said for Genshin Impact.<\/p>\n
The reason is simple: China’s strict gaming regulations. However, the situation is slightly different for Christmas and the Holiday season. While these seasonal events are often timed to correspond with their real-life occurrence, this is a characteristic HoYoverse doesn’t share with other developers.<\/p>\n
