After the massive success of the first Marvel Spider-Man game, it was only natural that a sequel would surely be in the works. Spider-Man has always had a home on video game consoles, far more so than any of his superhero peers. Something about swinging from building to building in real time is just so appealing. <\/p>\n

However, since the original Marvel’s Spider-Man was released back in 2018, there has been no footage, leaks, or news of any kind that the sequel will be coming out anytime soon. Many fans had lost hope that the game would ever see the light of day, but luckily this doesn’t seem to be the case.<\/p>\n

In a Twitter thread, one user expressed their panic that the game would be delayed after being told by developers that it still wasn’t ready. <\/p>\n

Luckily, the official Insomniac Games Twitter account offered a reassuring reply, confirming that the game will still come out (hopefully in 2023) and good progress is being made.<\/p>\n

The account went on to state that showing games takes time, effort, and a myriad of other factors, and these are the reasons why no footage has been shown yet. <\/p>\n
