In a bug outlined on a ResetEra post<\/a>, players can cancel out the results of online matches by switching off the Nintendo Switch system at a precise moment after losing a match.<\/p>\n

If executed correctly, the losing player won’t lose any points while the winner won’t receive any points either – effectively making the entire match pointless.<\/p>\n

“This totally nulls the match and ruins the whole point of laddering in Pokémon,” the post reads.<\/p>\n

The issue has also circulated in a video on social media, showcasing how relatively easy it appears to be.<\/p>\n
