Pokémon GO’s Safari Zone: Taipei event<\/a> has kicked off to a fantastic start as Trainers arrive from Taiwan and beyond to interact with fellow Trainers and participate in the event’s activities. With many unable to attend the in-person event, developer Niantic has launched a new global event-exclusive Research in-game.<\/p>\n

The latest Exploration Challenge features the Water-type Wing Fish Pokémon, Finneon<\/a>, which Trainers can earn encounters with after finishing the in-game tasks. We’ve listed the tasks available for the Exploration Challenge and the rewards to obtain in Pokémon GO.<\/p>\n

All Exploration Challenges & Rewards In Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Taipei<\/h2>\n

The latest Safari Zone live event in Taipei has plenty of in-game experiences and gameplay activities with which Trainers can engage. Ranging from Wild Encounters, Raids, and Research tasks<\/a>, developer Niantic has now also included a brand new limited-time challenge for this event.<\/p>\n

A new Exploration Challenge is currently available in Pokémon GO for all Trainers globally, with several tasks on hand to complete. Available from 22nd October 2022 at 8 am local time<\/strong> until 23rd October 2022 at 8 pm local time<\/strong>, completing the tasks will award Trainers XP, Stardust, and encounters with Pokémon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

First reported by a credible Pokémon source, Leek Duck<\/a>, we’ve detailed the complete list of all the Exploration Challenge tasks and rewards for Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Taipei:<\/p>\n

  • Explore two kilometers:<\/strong> Finneon encounter<\/li>\n
  • Explore three kilometers:<\/strong> Finneon encounter<\/li>\n
  • Explore four kilometers:<\/strong> Finneon encounter<\/li>\n
  • Explore five kilometers:<\/strong> Finneon encounter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    As Trainers can be awarded Finneon encounters when completing the Exploration Challenge tasks, there’s a chance that these encounters may also have a Shiny Finneon appear in Safari Zone: Taipei. Likewise, Trainers can evolve Finneon to Lumineon for 50 Finneon Candy<\/strong> should they catch enough Finneon during this event.<\/p>\n

      Finneon will appear in Wild Encounters in its Shiny form alongside other Pokémon like Unown T, P, and E and the three Pikachu variations exclusive to the event. This event experience is only accessible to those attending the Safari Zone: Taipei event in person throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n

      To guarantee that Trainers can successfully catch the Wing Fish Pokémon, they should ensure they have enough Poké Balls in the inventory and put their Berries to good use to simplify this process. Lastly, Trainers should visit the various spawning locations to further guarantee encounters with Finneon and utilize a couple of Nice and Curveball Throws for good measure.<\/p>\n

      The Safari Zone: Taipei event is available to attend in person at the Da’an Forest Park until 23rd October 2022 at 6 pm local time. Similarly, the Halloween in-game event<\/a> is underway for all Trainers until 1st November 2022 at 10 am local time.<\/p>\n
