Unfortunately, no, <\/strong>Dead by Daylight does not have voice chat. It also does not look like this feature is coming anytime soon, even if some fans would like to be able to communicate with other players in Dead by Daylight.<\/p>\n
PC players can use the pre-game and post-game chat to send messages to other players before or after the game, but there is no way to directly communicate with other players during trials at the current time.<\/p>\n
Why Is There No Voice Chat In Dead By Daylight?<\/h2>\n
There is no voice chat in Dead by Daylight because the game is not designed to be played with voice chat. This would give survivor players an unfair advantage since many perks prevent survivors from detecting the killer.<\/p>\n
Developers have claimed that they struggle to moderate the amount of toxicity in the pre-game and post-game chat also, meaning it would be a new challenge to consistently moderate the game’s voice chat.<\/p>\n
