The Season of Adventures Aboud<\/a> is in full swing as Trainers enjoy the summer weather and spend time with their Pokémon on new adventures. Unfortunately, Team GO Rocket has reemerged to scare away Trainers this Halloween<\/a> as yet another Takeover event looms over the skies and PokéStops globally.<\/p>\n

Team GO Rocket Boss Giovanni<\/a>, his Team Leaders Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra, and their Grunts<\/a> have been spotted in Team GO Rocket balloons as they prepare for the next Takeover event. Here’s everything about the upcoming event, including the event schedule, featured Shadow Pokémon, and more for Pokémon GO<\/a>.<\/p>\n

31st October 2023 Update:<\/strong><\/span> This guide reflects the conclusion of the Team GO Rocket Halloween Takeover event on 31st October 2023 for Trainers globally in Pokémon GO. The original article continues below.<\/pre>\n<\/p>\n
Pokémon GO Team Rocket Halloween Takeover: Event Dates & Times<\/h2>\n

Trainers will be seeing plenty of Team GO Rocket balloons spawning in the air and near PokéStops during the Takeover event. (Picture: Twitter \/ Pokémon GO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Giovanni and all Team GO Rocket leaders and Grunts are back for more shenanigans in the upcoming Team GO Rocket Halloween Takeover event<\/a> for Pokémon GO. This event will begin on 26th October 2023 at 10 am local time<\/strong>, for which Trainers have limited time to save Shadow Pokémon before the event ends on 31st October 2023 at 8 pm local time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
Multiple event bonuses active as Team GO Rocket will be seen more frequently in the air and nearby PokéStops, and you’ll be able to use a Charged Technical Machine (TM) to aid a Shadow Pokémon in unlearning the Frustration Charged Attack. Additionally, a Field Research task is available for the event as Trainers must complete the tasks to receive a Mysterious Component as their reward.<\/p>\n
Pokémon GO Team Rocket Halloween Takeover: Featured Shadow Pokémon<\/h2>\n
During this event, Trainers must rescue several Shadow Pokémon from the clutches of Team GO Rocket leaders and their grunts<\/a>. Should you be successful in this task, there’s a chance you may have rescued their Shiny forms, as we’ve detailed below the Shadow Pokémon appearing for this event:<\/p>\n

    Pokémon GO Team GO Rocket Halloween Takeover: Egg Hatches<\/h2>\n

    The event will also see more 12km Eggs made available for Trainers to acquire and work towards hatching. Like with previous Team GO Rocket Takeover events, these Pokémon can be hatched when placed inside an Incubator with the chance of hatching Shiny forms (*)<\/em><\/strong> of the following Pokémon listed below: <\/p>\n

      Pokémon GO Team Rocket Halloween Takeover: Special Research Story<\/h2>\n
      Lastly, a Special Research story will be available for Trainers to claim and complete from the start of the Team GO Rocket HalloweenTakeover event. This research story will task you to track down Team GO Rocket boss Giovanni<\/a> and help rescue the Shadow Regigigas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
      Trainers will need to finish each research task to earn a Mysterious Component<\/strong>, which you need six to create a Rocket Radar. Once you have enough components, you can assemble them to form a Super Rocket Radar<\/strong> and find Giovanni before defeating him.<\/p>\n
      This Special Research story will be free for all Trainers once the event begins on 26th October 2023 at 10 am local time<\/strong>. Trainers will have until the Season of Adventures Abound concludes on 1st December 2023 at 10 am local time <\/strong>to claim the Special Research story and save Shadow Regigigas.<\/p>\n
