Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 is now available to play<\/strong>. There is a lot of excitement for the game as Warzone was extremely popular throughout its lifespan. Players are excited to try out the new guns<\/a>, maps, and features the game will offer.<\/p>\n

One feature that was very apparent and prominent in the original Warzone was skill-based matchmaking (SBMM). This kept hardcore fans returning but was a barrier to entry for some casual players. So, will SBMM be coming back to Warzone 2.0, or will players be able to loot<\/a> a wider range of opponents?<\/p>\n

Will SBMM Return To Warzone 2?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

First, let us answer the question, what is SBMM<\/strong>? SBMM is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Warzone is a game that matches you up against people of similar skill levels as you. It keeps the games as balanced as possible to make sure that no one is getting destroyed in the game and to make sure that veterans are constantly challenged.<\/p>\n

SBMM is a controversial feature, though. People claim that SBMM prevents casual players from enjoying the game because they will always be matched against people who are using meta loadouts to win. Some people argue that SBMM should be reserved for ranked gameplay instead of being in casual playlists.<\/p>\n

With all that being said, yes, SBMM is in Warzone 2<\/strong>. SBMM was in Warzone 1, so it is very easy to assume that it is in the game. Unless Activision says otherwise, Warzone 2 will have SBMM for the game.<\/p>\n

Is Ranked Coming To Warzone 2?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Some casual and hardcore players are hoping that Ranked can come to Warzone 2. When Warzone 2 first started, Ranked Play was noticeably missing from the game which caused a divide among the players of the game. Well, that is no longer a problem.<\/p>\n

Warzone 2 finally has a ranked mode. Activision<\/a> has added Ranked Mode for everyone to try out in Warzone 2. The Ranked mode was added for Season 3 of Warzone 2<\/strong>. Although Ranked is currently undergoing a beta test, players can earn SR and rank up, and be matched with those who are a similar rank.<\/p>\n
