Renowned Japanese film producer Studio Ghibli is teaming up with Lucasfilm, as revealed in a cryptic tweet<\/a> published on 10 November 2022. Studio Ghibli, creators of such classics as Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Howl’s Moving Castle, is a household name in not only the anime community but the film industry at large. Similarly, Lucasfilm is responsible for creating some of the most beloved features of all time, including Star Wars<\/a> and Indiana Jones. <\/p>\n

Hardly anything is known yet about what this mysterious collaboration could be. The only thing shown in the tweet was both companies’ logos. Still, that has not stopped fans from speculating about all kinds of possibilities this could mean for the future.<\/p>\n

As mentioned, not much is known yet about what this new collaborative project between Studio Ghibli and Lucasfilm could be. That being said, it’s safe to make a few predictions. Firstly, the project is almost guaranteed to be animated. Studio Ghibli has yet to release a live-action film and prides itself on gorgeous animated pieces. <\/p>\n
