Baldur’s Gate 3 has been in early access for quite some time but Larian Studios RPG is still incredibly popular. Given its current development state, it’s still got a few bugs<\/a> that need to be ironed out, but thankfully the next big update for the game is coming very soon.<\/p>\n

According to a new development blog, Patch 9<\/strong> is nearing release for Baldurs Gate 3, which is going to be one of the most significant updates for the game to date.<\/p>\n

According to a blog post<\/a> by Larian Studios, fans have a lot to look forward to in the Patch 9 update. We now know that there are new spells, overhauled tooltips, and so much more is now available in the game. If it is like previous patches, there will be bug fixes, gameplay updates, and more.<\/p>\n
Patch 9 of Baldur’s Gate 3 is now available to play<\/strong>. On top of that, a new recent post by the developers stated that the size of the patch will be 33GB, and the full game size right now with the new patch is 84.7GB<\/p>\n

What Is Coming With Patch 9 Of Baldurs Gate?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
So far, the game is divided by story Acts. Right now, Baldurs Gate 3 only has Act 1 available for players to enjoy. Larian Studios is actively working on Acts 2 and 3<\/strong> for the game. In the latest blog post, the developers said that Acts 2 and 3 are actively being play-tested right now. So that means the full launch of Baldurs Gate 3 is on the way. The patch itself came with a lot of overhauls, new gameplay mechanics, and so much more.<\/p>\n
The developers also talked about the tools they are using to develop the game. The studio is working with motion capture<\/strong> to make the game even better for players.<\/p>\n

Right now, it seems that Baldurs Gate 3 is still on track to launch in 2023<\/strong>. In the studio’s update, the developers claimed that they are on track for the full release of the game and they are not slowing down anytime soon.<\/p>\n
During The Game Awards 2022, it was actually announced that Baldurs Gate 3 will be ready to launch by August 2023<\/strong>.
