Although Warzone 2.0<\/a> is supposed to be available for players to jump into at the time of writing, many players are reporting that the game is still locked on their menu. If you’re experiencing this issue as well, then don’t fret, as you aren’t alone. <\/span><\/p>\n

Luckily, we’ve done our homework and have all the answers below regarding why Warzone 2.0 is locked on the main menu, as well as when it will be made available to drop into for all players. <\/span><\/p>\n

Why Warzone 2.0 is Locked On The Menu<\/span><\/h2>\n

The reason Warzone 2.0 is still locked on PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox is Because Warzone 2.0 has not yet been officially released. Even though it is launch day<\/a>, Warzone 2.0 will only be available at the specific times of 6 PM GMT\/1 PM ET\/10 AM PT.<\/span><\/p>\n

This means that players will have to wait for a few hours until Warzone 2.0 unlocks and becomes playable. When this happens, users may need to restart the game to refresh the game and unlock it.<\/span><\/p>\n

While users will undoubtedly be eager to try Warzone 2.0 and the improvements\/changes it brings to the battle royale formula, patience is often required for the launch of any major AAA online experience. This is due to the high demand, server failures, and downtime being common birthing pains of a new multiplayer experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pressure is on for Activision to ensure the game is accessible as many players are eager to jump into the new experience that is set to come from Warzone 2.0, from the plethora of new content coming to the game to just getting their hands on the next Multiplayer battle royale experience to come from Activision. <\/span><\/p>\n
