The Pokemon you start with in Scarlet and Violet will help shape the team that you use to go through the gyms, no matter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/pokemon-scarlet-violet\/version-differences\">which version<\/a> of the game you are playing.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/pokemon-scarlet-violet\/greavard\">new Pokemon<\/a> you will choose from as your starter are Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. It is important that you understand what to expect from each Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet when you are starting out. So we will go over some of their stats and weaknesses. It is a Grass-type Pokemon with the ability called <strong>Overgrow<\/strong>. Overgrow makes it so that when Sprigatito is under 1\/3 of its HP, its grass-type moves hit 50% harder. Fuecoco can be argued to be the best offensive type starter Pokemon based on the fact that fire attacks hit a good chunk of Pokemon for super-effective damage. Fuecoco has the ability <strong>Blaze<\/strong>. Blaze makes it so that when Fuecoco is under 1\/3 HP, its fire-damage output increases by 50%. Fuecoco hits grass, ice, bug, and steel-type Pokemon for super-effective damage.<\/p>\n<h2>Quaxly Guide in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet<\/h2>\n<p>Quaxly is the water-type Pokemon that players can choose as their starter in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Quaxly has an ability called <strong>Torrent<\/strong>. Much like Blaze or Overgrow, Torrent activates when Quaxly is under 1\/3 HP, increasing its water damage by 50%.
