The arrival of Warzone 2 has brought with it tons of new content for players to enjoy, one of which is the new DMZ mode that introduces new objectives to complete as one of three factions<\/a>. One of the objectives you complete as part of the Legion faction is to activate a UAV tower, and if you’re stumped on where to find one and how to activate it, then keep reading.<\/span><\/p>\n

We’ve created this guide to walk you through all of the UAV locations you can find in Al Mazrah, as well as how to activate any of the UAV towers you choose to visit and complete your mission.<\/span><\/p>\n

Warzone 2 DMZ – How to find UAV Tower Locations<\/span><\/h2>\n

Even though you begin at a random location on the map, you will be close enough to one of the UAV towers in Al Mazrah, as there are 16 of them in total. From there, you can open your tactical map and look for the closest UAV tower. It should be easy to recognize the UAV tower icon on the map as it resembles a tower with sound waves emerging from the top.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you locate a UAV tower on your map, you’ll need to ping it, so it becomes visible even without your tactical map<\/a> open, and then you can start moving toward it. You can determine how many meters it is from you and the precise path you need to take to get there by pinging the UAV tower.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once you reach the location marked on your map, look around for a laptop at the base of the building you’re at or on the roof as it is sometimes placed there. Be sure to approach the area carefully, as enemy soldiers are likely to be searching for the UAV Tower as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Warzone 2 DMZ – How To Activate UAV Towers<\/span><\/h2>\n

Activating the UAV tower is part of the “Al-Quatala Informant” mission that all players in the Legion faction will have to complete. To do this, head near the attached laptop and interact with it using Square\/X\/E to activate a UAV Tower. This will display a short progress bar before an announcement appears on your HUD. <\/span><\/p>\n

The UAV Tower will then begin to monitor the area around it and highlight any nearby enemies on your radar as soon as you see that announcement. And just like that, you’ve activated a UAV tower and completed one of your DMZ mission objectives. <\/span><\/p>\n

Completing this challenge grants you 5000 XP and also puts you one step closer to completing all of the Legion Faction’s quests in Warzone 2.<\/span><\/p>\n
