With Pokémon Scarlet and Violet debuting on Nintendo Switch on 18th November 2022, players have already been scouring fields and oceans, collecting all kinds of Pokémon to complete their PokéDex while beating every Gym in Paldea to earn the Champion’s rank. That said, some players are still trying to figure out how to enter Area Zero in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.<\/p>\n

Also known as the gigantic crater in the middle of Paldea, Area Zero is secretly a haven for creatures called Paradox Pokémon. It’s also a magnificently beautiful area in Paldea that houses the Zero Lab with Professor Aida or Turo, the scientist most players will encounter early on when stumbling upon Koraidon or Miraidon.<\/p>\n

How To Get To Area Zero In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet<\/h2>\n

To reach Area Zero in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must complete all three main questlines<\/strong> across Paldea: Victory Road, Path of Legends, and Starfall Street walkthroughs. After this, you should encounter the supposed end scene of the game, detailing that you’ve defeated all Titan Pokémon, Gym Leaders, and Team Star Leaders.<\/p>\n

From here, Area Zero will unlock, and you’ll acquire The Way Home storyline<\/strong>, where you can enter the crater. Again, it’s paramount that you beat all three questlines, as each character from every walkthrough is required to gain access to Area Zero.<\/p>\n

Once done, Arven will call you to go to the crater, and then you can travel to the Zero Gate, located near Area Zero. Then, you’ll need to follow a few minor steps and watch a couple of cutscenes, where you, Arven, Nemona, and Penny will fly into Area Zero on Koraidon or Miraidon.<\/p>\n

In Area Zero, you’ll encounter many Pokémon you’ve never seen before. For Pokémon Scarlet, these Paradox Pokémon resemble ancient relatives of regular Pokémon seen in the present. However, in the case of Pokémon Violet, the Paradox Pokémon you’ll encounter are much more futuristic-looking and seem like they’re mostly robots.<\/p>\n

It’s worth noting that you’ll also come across the Zero Lab by visiting Area Zero. Here, you’ll finally finish The Way Home questline and encounter a terribly harsh truth and deeply saddening ending to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet (no spoilers).<\/p>\n
