It’s nearly here, gamers! Christmas is at everyone’s doorstep, and many gamers are excited to celebrate the holidays with their family and friends. While the recent Black Friday deals for PlayStation<\/a>, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch may have robbed gamers’ wallets, we can all look forward to embracing the season of giving <\/em>by bagging several free or discounted AAA games in December.<\/p>\n

According to a report by Video Game Chronicles<\/a>, a user named billbil-kun on Dealabs<\/a> stated that Epic Games’ Christmas promotional event will likely return in 2022; previously, this event spanned two to three weeks and offered free games for each day of the promotion. So if rumors are true, Epic Games’ superb deals mean you won’t need to spend a dime to get some pretty great games this Christmas.<\/p>\n

Epic Games has given away free games during Christmas for the last three years. Last year, the company gave away fifteen games for free. Now, it seems like that event is coming around soon, with billbil-kun stating that it’ll begin anywhere between 15th December 2022 and 10th January 2023.<\/p>\n

So far, Epic Games hasn’t confirmed that the event would return, but it’s safe to assume it will, especially after the company has consecutively hosted three already. That said, we’re not sure which games will be available; however, if we were to guess, the Epic Games festive promotion will likely include indie and AAA titles. But if you’re still interested in some free games, don’t fret.<\/p>\n

You can pick up Star Wars: Squadrons for free<\/a> at the Epic Games store instead of spending the retail price of $29.99. Star Wars: Squadrons will be available from 24th November 2022 until 1st December 2022. After that, the Epic Games Store will feature RPG In A Box and Fort Triumph until 8th December 2022. <\/p>\n
