FPS plays a crucial role while playing video games, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2<\/a> is no exception. A high number of frames per second, or FPS, is pretty important as it delivers a smoother gameplay experience while you’re playing Modern Warfare 2.<\/p>\n

However, before you start improving your framerate, you need to know what FPS you’re running Modern Warfare 2 at. With that said, we take a look at how you can show framerate count, which is disabled by default in Modern Warfare 2.<\/p>\n

How to Enable FPS Count in Modern Warfare 2<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Following are the methods through which you can show or display FPS in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2:<\/p>\n

Turn on the FPS Counter From In-Game Settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Follow these steps to turn on the FPS Counter from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 in-game settings:<\/p>\n

  1. Launch the Modern Warfare 2 game.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on the Settings option in the Top Right Corner of the screen<\/li>\n
  3. From the list, select “Interface.”<\/li>\n
  4. Find the “Telemetry Settings” option and set it to custom.<\/li>\n
  5. Click on the See more option.<\/li>\n
  6. Scroll down to find the FPS Counter option.<\/li>\n
  7. Toggle it on, and the FPS meter shows up on the top left of the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Open Steam.<\/li>\n
    2. Go to Steam > Settings > In-Game.<\/li>\n
    3. Under In-game FPS counter, select the corner where you’d like the counter to appear.<\/li>\n
    4. You can also check the High contrast colors if you prefer.<\/li>\n
    5. Click Ok.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Apart from this, one can also use third-party software like MSI Afterburner, NZXT Cam, or FPS count to display FPS in video games, including Modern Warfare 2.<\/p>\n
