Fortnite Chapter 4  Season 1 continues the long-running BR game by adding a brand new map, a new battle pass, new weapons, and items, revamped next-gen visuals, and more<\/p>\n

Naturally, there are new quests as well, with the Oathbound questline being this season’s main story quest. Picking up after the events of the Fracture event, the Oathbound quest involves piecing together the disappearance of Paradigm and her mission in Fornite Chapter 3. Here’s how you can complete it. <\/p>\n

Fortnite Oathbound Quest Walkthrough<\/h2>\n

Fortnite Oathbound quest is divided into two parts.<\/p>\n

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Oathbound quest part 1<\/h3>\n

There are 13 steps in part 1 of the Oathbound quest in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. Below you will find details on how to complete each of them. <\/p>\n

Before you can begin the Oathbound quest, you have to complete the Augment tutorials<\/a>. If you didn’t know, Augments are new passive abilities in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 that can give you an advantage on the battlefield.<\/p>\n

 To complete the tutorial, you simply have to be in the game and activate different Augments a set number of times. Once you have done that, you will unlock the first step of the Oathbound quest.<\/p>\n

Make contact with AMIE at a Hologram Brazier<\/strong><\/p>\n

First things first, you have to contact AMIE at a Hologram Brazier. You can find them at various new  POIs in the game. Thankfully, there are plenty of Hologram Braziers on the map, and you can find their locations by simply tracking the quest in the quest menu. <\/p>\n

We recommend going to something less crowded, like the Frenzy Fields, instead of something like The Citadel. <\/p>\n

Download pieces of Paradigm’s encrypted message from Data Beacons<\/strong><\/p>\n

After you have contacted AMIE, you have to download three pieces of Paradigm’s encrypted message. Thankfully, the locations of these Data Beacons are also marked on the map once you track the quest. Like before, we recommend choosing POIs that are more likely to be secluded.<\/p>\n

Retrieve a box of Refined Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once you have gathered all of Paradigm’s messages, AMIE will send you to retrieve a box of Refined Materials. You will find it outside a small fort east of Shattered Slabs and south of Anvil Square. <\/p>\n

Place the box of Refined Material at Shattered Slabs<\/strong><\/p>\n

This one is pretty self-explanatory. Place the Refined Material you collected in a box at Shattered Slabs. You can find the location of this POI in the screenshot above. <\/p>\n

Make contact with AMIE at a Hologram Brazier<\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to one of the Hologram Brazier again to tell AMIE about your progress. As before, we recommend choosing a POI that’s not a hotspot. <\/p>\n

Hit Kinetic Ore with your harvesting tool to collect dropped Kinetic Chunks<\/strong><\/p>\n

AMIE will send you to collect three Kinetic Chunks. You can obtain these by hitting these huge blue Kinetic Ores with your harvesting tool. Once they explode, pick up the three pieces and wait for the next part of the quest to trigger. <\/p>\n

Make contact with AMIE at a Hologram Brazier<\/strong><\/p>\n

Repeat the process from the steps written above.<\/p>\n

Collect a shockwave hammer<\/strong><\/p>\n

AMIE will send you to collect a shockwave hammer. It’s one of the new melee weapons in Fortnite Chapter 4. You can find these in any of the Oathbound chests scattered across the map.<\/p>\n

You will find these Oathbound chests in the medieval-themed POIs. The Citadel is a great place to look for one of these.<\/p>\n

Travel 150 meters by bouncing with a Shockwave Hammer <\/strong><\/p>\n

Now AMIE wants you to have a little fun with this new flashy weapon. To complete this objective, simply use the Hammer on the ground to create a  shock that will send you flying. Travel 150 meters by doing this to complete the task and activate the next part of the quest.<\/p>\n

Damage opponents with the Shockwave Hammer<\/strong><\/p>\n

You have to do 50 damage to opponents with the Shockwave Hammer. You don’t necessarily need to point the Hammer at somebody to damage them. Just target the ground in front of them to send them flying. <\/p>\n

Make contact with AMIE at a Hologram Brazier<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inform AMIE of your progress at one of the many Hologram Braziers on the map as you did earlier. <\/p>\n

Assist in defeating the Ageless Champion<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here comes the challenging part. The Ageless is the new AI boss you will encounter in the lower parts of the Citadel. Like previous boss battles, The Ageless has two health bars and would require a handful of bullets to take down.<\/p>\n

We recommend approaching the Ageless Champion in Duos or Trios to divide its attention and to take it down easily. If you’re playing Solo, we recommend landing at the Citadel, as it’s one of the hotspots in the game.
You will find a lot of other players here, and you might have to form an uncanny alliance with some other player who also wants to take down the Ageless.<\/p>\n

Defeating the Ageless Champion will complete part 1 of the Oathbound quest. Each quest will reward you 20,000 XP, which is a great way to level up the battle pass quickly.<\/p>\n

The second part of the Oathbound questline will be available in January 2023. We will update this article when that quest becomes available.<\/p>\n
