Yesterday marks the launch of the Season 3 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, with a lot of new content added<\/a> in both Modern Warfare and its free to play Battle Royale mode. <\/p>\n

And while players are generally happy with everything developer Infinity Ward has done for the game in Seasons 3, there’s one thing that they loudly do not approve – removing of already existing modes.<\/p>\n

And that’s precisely what happened with Trios; they were removed from the game with yesterday’s upgrade, and simply replaced with Quads.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the launch od Season 3, Redditor lWoooooO posted a thread named “Guys, PLEASE stop removing modes<\/a>” and, at the time of writing this article, it has 12k upvotes and almost 2k comments. This clearly indicates the general dissatisfaction with the decision to remove Trios completely from the game. <\/p>\n

Players don’t have problems with Quads, most of them are actually like them, but they just don’t want to see other ways of playing the game removed.<\/p>\n

“WHY would you add Quads, but REMOVE Trios?! We want Solos, Duos, Trios, AND Quads, not just 1 or 2 options. This better not mean Quads will go away eventually or something,” says lWoooooO in his post.<\/p>\n

Further down in the comments,  we can see people saying “Get this to the top. We need trios and duos. I usually play with my friend, and now there is literally no way to play this game,” which seems to be one of the biggest concerns amongst other comments too. Many of them are people that can’t always organize four friends to play in Quads, and this will worsen their overall experience.<\/p>\n
