In June 2022, as Pearl arrived in Valorant, Riot Games removed Split from the map pool<\/a> indefinitely from Competitive, Unrated queues. While some players were happy with the decision, others missed the map, and they have been asking Riot to bring it back to the game. <\/p>\n The wait is finally over, as Riot has announced that Split will be making a comeback, and to make space for it, Breeze and Bind will be departing from the game. Here is the exact date of Split’s comeback in Valorant.<\/p>\n Split will return to Valorant with the release of Valorant patch 6.0, which is expected to be on January 10, 2023. Now, with Bind and Breeze going out of the map pool, we will be left with six maps, which means that the new map will also be launched along with the return of Split. <\/p>\n Split is back (with some changes).
