Seviper is a fan-favorite Pokémon and one that many people fell in love with after seeing Jessie’s Seviper in the Pokémon anime. Originally debuting in Generation III, Seviper was partnered with Zangoose to reflect the real-life rivalry between the animals these Pokémon are based on.<\/p>\n

Returning in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet<\/a>, players who want to add Seviper to their team may be wondering where they can find this scary snake. That’s where we come in! This article will cover how to find Seviper in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, so you can start using it right away.<\/p>\n

How To Get Seviper In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet<\/h2>\n

Seviper can be acquired very early in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. From the school, head South-East (as per your map). Eventually, you should run into a marshland at the very edge of the map. Seviper will spawn not<\/em> inside the marshland itself but in the tall grass that surrounds it. Seviper is a rare spawn, so it may not appear on your first visit. If Seviper does not spawn, just leave the area and re-enter a few times, and it should show up eventually.<\/p>\n

Additionally, unlike other Pokémon who will sometimes spawn in groups, Seviper will always be a solo spawn, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for a slippery snake slinking through the grass. Seviper that appear in this area will be between levels 20-25, so make sure your team is strong enough to weaken it enough if you plan on headhunting Seviper as early as possible.<\/p>\n

As a pure Poison-type Pokémon, Seviper is weak to Ground and Psychic-type attacks. At this stage in the game, you likely won’t have access to too many options, but thankfully, the muddy marsh adjacent to Seviper’s spawn allows you to add Paldean Woope to your squad.<\/p>\n

Once you’ve caught Seviper, you don’t have to worry about evolving it, as it has no evolution. It’s a shame both Seviper and Zangoose have never received any kind of regional form despite them being quite an iconic pairing. That being said, Seviper was given a lot of love in Scarlet and Violet texture-wise, and those who own one will be able to see that its scales look incredibly realistic. <\/p>\n
