It’s time to return to the swampy melancholic lands of the Velen, and the windy optimistic shores of Skellige, as The Witcher 3’s free next-gen update drops on 14th December 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next-gen update is free on all platforms, including PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X\/S. CD Projekt Red has packed a plethora of new stuff, including features like raytraced global illumination, ambient occlusion, and more. While console players get their usual performance and quality modes, PC players get additional mod support and PC-exclusive features like DLSS 3 support and Ultra+ graphics setting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, all the next-gen additions come at a cost, and, as such, here are The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s next-gen system requirements on PC.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next-Gen System Requirements (Specs)<\/h2>\n

Unfortunately, as of this writing, CDPR has yet to reveal the official next-gen system requirements for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will update this article when more info is made available. In the meantime, we recommend checking out the minimum and system requirements for the original Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements<\/span><\/h3>\n

  • OS:<\/span><\/strong> 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1). DirectX 11 is necessary to run the game.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Processor:<\/span><\/strong> Intel CPU Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz, AMD CPU Phenom II X4 940. Finding a Gaming CPUs performance chart and comparing one’s CPU with our minimum is suggested.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Graphics:<\/span><\/strong> Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 660 or AMD GPU Radeon HD 7870. <\/span><\/li>\n
  • RAM:<\/span><\/strong> 6GB<\/span><\/li>\n

      The next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC gets DLSS 3 support.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

      As mentioned previously, the next-gen update of The Witcher 3 on PC has several exclusive features. The two major features include the DLSS 3 support and the Ultra+ graphics settings. The Ultra+ graphics include the following attributes: <\/span><\/p>\n
