Earlier this week we talked about the game called Grounded<\/a>. It’s a survival game where you and your friends are shrunk down to tiny size and trying to survive in a backyard environment.<\/p>\n

That backyard is full of all kinds of little-suddenly-enormous critters: bugs, ants, worms… and spiders. The thing is, many people have an innate fear of spiders, called arachnophobia, so this game won’t be quite playable for them, given that you’re tiny human kid haunted by big spiders; not really an enjoyable scenario for people with arachnophobia.<\/p>\n

But, the developers at Obsidian were thinking of people with arachnophobia and introduced a special Arachnophobia mode “to help with those who aren’t fans of spiders and still want to enjoy the game!”<\/p>\n

A fan named Koding posted on the Twitter that he saw the trailer for the game and that giant spiders were a signal for him not to play the game. Somone from Obsidian saw that comment and told him the good news about the Arachnophobia Mode.<\/p>\n

This is an interesting thing, we never saw something like this before to be implemented in the game and to target audience this specific. It gotta be that someone at Obsidian is afraid of spiders and gave them an idea for this mode.<\/p>\n
