Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion is on the horizon, and Bungie has finally started to unveil more about this ambitious next chapter in the game. At The Game Awards 2022<\/a>, we got our first gameplay trailer for Lightfall, and now we have some more interesting info about some of the changes coming with this new expansion.<\/p>\n

For those unaware, the Lightfall expansion will add a new subclass and introduce players to the neon-soaked city of Neomuna. Naturally, weapon meta will also change, and Bungie has outlined some of the exotics that are getting reworked for this upcoming Blade Runner-Esque adventure.<\/p>\n

On DCP Podcast<\/a>, as reported by thegamepost<\/a>, Bungie’s senior designer lead Chris Proctor, and Associate Weapons Designer Mercules discussed weapons sandbox ahead of the launch of Lightfall expansion.
On being asked if any of the game’s exotics are getting reworked for Lightfall, Proctor said, “So, actually, we’re doing a big part on subclass 3.0 verbs on exotic weapons. There’s a whole bunch of changes, most of them are of that type, though.”<\/p>\n
