As Trainers have been granted their wishes during the Winter Holiday<\/a> and Winter Wonderland events, they can look towards 2023 with a plethora of incoming content planned for Pokémon GO. The upcoming New Year’s 2023 event<\/a> sees the debut of another costumed Pikachu and the return of Reshiram to new Raid encounters.<\/p>\n

The Legendary Dragon\/Fire-type Pokémon will also be featured in other Raid events throughout January 2023 but will we encounter a Shiny Reshiram? We’ve detailed whether a Shiny Reshiram is available and how to catch it in Pokémon GO’s New Year’s 2023 event.<\/p>\n

Is There A Shiny Reshiram In Pokémon GO?<\/h2>\n

Yes<\/strong>, as the Legendary Dragon\/Fire-type Pokémon, Reshiram, is returning for this limited-time event, New Year’s 2023, and lucky Trainers will be able to encounter it and its Shiny form in-game<\/strong>. During this event, you’ll encounter various Pokémon dressed to the nines to bid farewell to 2022.<\/p>\n

The New Year’s 2023 Event will commence on 31st December 2022 at 8 pm local time<\/strong>, in which Reshiram will be featured in five-star Raids<\/strong>. However, Reshiram will be extending its stay in Raid encounters in January 2023 as it will be featured in additional Raid events for the New Year.<\/p>\n
