Valorant Lotus Map Sites, Layout, New Mechanism<\/strong><\/h2>\nLotus will be the second map in Valorant, with three sites after Haven, and as revealed before, it will have a brand new mechanism. You will be able to use rotating doors, a destructible wall\/door, and a silent drop to navigate across the Lost City.<\/p>\n
Its layout was revealed for a fraction of a second in the Episode 6 cinematic trailer.<\/p>\n

(Picture: Riot Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\nJoe Lansford, the Level Designer, explained, “When designing Lotus, I was originally envisioning a space station and had an airlock mechanic that shut down large areas of the map. Turned out to just not be that fun, so we scrapped the idea and moved in the direction we have today.”<\/p>\n

Additionally, we aimed to make a map with high flexibility and movement for both teams.”<\/p>\n
