Saber Interactive’s highly anticipated third-person zombie shooter game World War Z: Aftermath<\/a> will soon receive its new “supersized” Horde Mode XL update, available exclusively on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The update will release free of charge on 24 January 2023 across next-gen consoles, running the game in 4K resolution at 60 fps.<\/p>\n

It’s worth mentioning that Horde Mode XL follows the same rules as standard Horde Mode, except it comprises a special wave of over 1,000 zombies, called the “XL wave,” that players must defeat in order to survive. In addition, this game mode includes various new content, such as mutators, new weapons, and a revamped weapon progression system in World War Z: Aftermath. There’s also an optional first-person mode and a new melee combat system.<\/p>\n
