Best Paradox Pokémon For Scarlet & Violet Ranked Battle Series 2<\/h2>\n

As mentioned, there are 14 total Paradox Pokémon across Scarlet and Violet (excluding Koraidon and Miraidon). While all of these Pokémon can do well with the right support, some are objectively stronger than others and work in a vacuum (slotting themselves nicely into almost any team composition). <\/p>\n

Additionally, these are not<\/em> the best Paradox Pokémon for Tera Raid Battles. While Iron Hands is a top-tier Tera Raid Pokémon, its usage in competitive play will likely not be nearly as high. Regardless, these are the best Paradox Pokémon for Scarlet and Violet Ranked Battle Series 2:<\/p>\n

Flutter Mane<\/h3>\n

Those in the know will likely already be aware of how absolutely broken Flutter Mane is. This Pokémon received the quickest ban in Smogon’s VGC competitive mode. Despite having abysmal defensive stats, Flutter Mane makes up for its paper-thin body with monstrous offensive stats. Not only can this thing hit like a truck, but it is also incredibly fast. <\/p>\n

As a Fairy and Ghost-type Pokémon, Flutter Mane is able to hit every Pokémon in the game for at least neutral damage, as no single type can resist both its STAB attacks. Flutter Mane gets a ton of good moves, and if equipped with the Booster Energy, it can raise its Speed or Special Attack stat the second it enters the field! Come February 1st, Flutter Mane will be everywhere, so either get busy building one or get ready to counter it!<\/p>\n

    Roaring Moon is another top contender that will likely become very prominent in the metagame at the start of Series 2. For anyone currently playing Pokémon Scarlet and Violet competitively, you will know that Hydreigon is everywhere! Its powerful typing and access to Tailwind make it a dominant threat.<\/p>\n

    Despite having lower overall base stats than Hydreigon, its access to Protosynthesis and the Booster Energy item already make it just a better Hydreigon. Roaring Moon is very fast and very strong offensively, and despite its four times weakness to Fairy-type attacks, Terrastalization and Iron Head make it able to decimate the Fairy types that once gave it so much trouble. <\/p>\n

      Brute Bonnet<\/h3>\n

      Amoonguss is and will always be a dominant Pokémon in the metagame thanks to its bulky stats and access to both Spore and Rage Powder. Brute Bonnet has more weaknesses than Amoonguss but also gets more resistances and an immunity. Additionally, Brute Bonnet has a very good Attack stat – much higher than Amoonguss’s.<\/p>\n

      Amoonguss is a great support Pokémon but can’t really do much of anything else. Brute Bonnet, on the other hand, can be both a great support Pokémon and a strong offensive threat as well. <\/p>\n
