It is time for the start of the Pokemon GO Twinkling Fantasy<\/a> event to start. With the start of a brand new event, it means that there are a lot of changes happening in Pokemon GO. One of the most significant changes for players will be the new raids that are coming to the game. For Twinkling Fantasy, the 5-Star raids you will do will feature the Dragon and Electric-Type Legendary Pokemon, Zekrom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With Reshiram<\/a> leaving the 5-star raid rotation, players will now have to plan around taking on Zekrom. But that is not all that is happening. A new 5-star raid boss<\/strong> means there might be a chance to get a new shiny legendary Pokemon. Can you encounter a Shiny Zekrom during the raids in Pokemon GO?<\/p>\n

Can I Catch Shiny Zekrom During Raids In Pokemon GO?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To put it very simply, yes, there is Shiny Zekrom available for you to catch in Pokemon GO<\/strong>. However, it is not that easy to catch a shiny Zekrom in Pokemon GO. There are a couple of different things you need to look out for.<\/p>\n

Niantic<\/a> has set Zekrom as a five-star raid. That means you will likely need multiple people to beat Zekrom<\/strong> in the raid. When you are battling Zekrom, you will not know if it is shiny until you defeat it and are able to catch it. So you need to completely finish a raid before you know if the Zekrom is shiny or not.<\/p>\n

But players have pretty decent odds of encountering a Shiny Zekrom. Players have a 1 in 20 chance to encounter a shiny pokemon<\/strong> during a five-star raid. So it should not take that long for you to find a Shiny Zekrom.<\/p>\n

When Can I Find A Shiny Zekrom In Pokemon GO?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You can actually encounter Shiny Zekrom right now<\/strong> in Pokemon GO. As of this writing, the Twinkling Fantasy event has begun for players around the world. But be aware that there is a limited time for players to do the Zekrom raid.<\/p>\n

Zekrom will leave as a five-star raid on January 16th<\/strong>. Once it hits 10 pm local time, players will no longer be able to do Zekrom raids, which means there will be no more shiny Zekrom for anyone to catch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
