The developer’s 5v5 tactical shooter is currently in a closed beta<\/a>, with the title set for a full release in summer 2020. <\/p>\n Valorant has already generated a huge amount of interest from pro players, with many switching their attention to the title<\/a>, and now Riot has outlined some of the core principles behind its esports strategy. <\/p>\n While incredibly vague, their plans are described as revolving around three core pillars; namely competitive integrity, accessibility and authenticity. <\/p>\n It’s hoped this will guide the growth of the esport so aspiring pro players can have a shot at the highest level of play, in what’s described as a “merit-based competition”. <\/p>\n
