With the Outland Inn-vitational, wee will see for the first time a new format called Demon Hunter Duel-fest<\/strong>, where both teams play against each other through 4 rounds of best-of-three matches. Each player will represent one of the ten classes and play as that same class in every match. However, on rounds 2 and 4, one full team will play as the Demon Hunter!<\/p>\nThe winner of each best-of-three match will earn 2 points for their team, and at the end of four rounds, the team with the highest point total wins.<\/p>\n
\nThe Outland Inn-vitational has $100,000 in prize money. The winning team will walk away with $65,000 ($6,500 per player), while the losing side is going home (well, they are playing from home anyway) with $35,000 ($3,500 per player). Three players with the best overall score will get an extra $1,000.<\/p>\n
All participants will stream their own perspective of the competition on their own channels from the comfort of their home, with the official Hearthstone Twitch and YouTube channels providing match commentary and big-picture updates.<\/p>\n
So, if you are for some good old Hearthstone personality action, mark Tuesday, 21 April. The event starts at 5PM BST, and ends in 10PM BST.<\/p>\n
