With the latest Diablo 2 Resurrected<\/a> (D2R) Public Test Realm (PTR), Blizzard is testing the new content for Season 4 (Patch 2.7), including new Runewords<\/a> and more. Some players might have never joined a PTR for Diablo 2 Resurrected, so we are here to help.<\/p>\n

This guide outlines when the next PTR for Diablo 2 Resurrected starts and how you can test the Season 4 content from patch 2.7 with ease, so let’s get started.<\/p>\n

D2R PTR Season 4 Start & End Dates<\/h2>\n

The Diablo 2 Resurrected PTR for patch 2.6 is now live. It runs from 24 January until 31 January 2023<\/strong>, with the start and end times the same, namely 10:00 am PST. <\/p>\n

Want to join the latest Diablo 2 PTR for patch 2.6 that will usher in Ladder Season 3? It is quite easy, really. First up, this is only available on PC. You will need a Battle.net account with a Diablo 2 Resurrected license attached, and the account must be in good standing.<\/p>\n
If you meet all these requirements and have installed the Battle.net desktop app (as well as D2R), then follow the official steps to join the latest Diablo 2 Resurrected Public Test Realm, as outlined by Blizzard below.<\/p>\n

  • Step 1:<\/strong> Restart the Battle.net desktop app.<\/li>\n
  • Step 2:<\/strong> Navigate to the Diablo II: Resurrected tab on the left-hand menu.<\/li>\n
  • Step 3:<\/strong> On the Diablo II: Resurrected screen, there is a drop-down menu right above the “Play” button (note that this may say “Install” if you do not have Diablo II: Resurrected currently installed). Select “PTR: Diablo II: Resurrected” from this drop-down menu before proceeding.<\/li>\n
  • Step 4:<\/strong> Click Install to begin the installation process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    In case you’ve never joined a PTR for D2R before, then please note that a PTR account will be automatically created for you. The new D2R PTR is available for accounts in all regions, and all languages are supported.<\/p>\n
