The Desert of Hadramaveth was introduced in the recent patch version 2.4 of Genshin Impact<\/a>, and with it comes the exploration of ancient ruins and temples while avoiding the dangers of sandstorms and wild creatures. As you venture through it, you’ll reach a point where you need an Ancient Stone Key to progress, and if you’re desperately in search of it, then keep reading. <\/span><\/p>\n

Below we’ll be taking a look at how players can get their hands on the Ancient Stone Key in Genshin Impact. We’ll also discuss why its purpose has been confusing so many players as of late and what it’s used for in the game. <\/span><\/p>\n

How to Get the Ancient Stone Key in Genshin Impact<\/h2>\n

The Ancient Stone Key is an item that players will need to use to unlock the door of a monument near the Tanit Camps in the Desert of Hadramaventh. However, as most players are seeing, the key is nowhere to be found, and no NPCs or quests in the area will grant it to you. <\/span><\/p>\n

The reason for this is that to get the Ancient Stone Key, players will need to complete the “Her Foes Rage Like Great Water” World quest. Unfortunately, though, this quest isn’t in the game yet, and won’t be until the suspected date of February 6th. <\/span><\/p>\n

While this does mean that you can’t get the Ancient Stone Key to unlock the door just yet, some players have found a way to access the chamber behind the door and get the Precious Chests<\/a> that are held inside. To do this, you’ll need to take advantage of a bug in the game, but if you don’t want to go that route, you’ll just have to wait until February for the quest to get the key to unlock. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you want to try the bug out, then here are the steps you need to follow to gain access to the chamber without the Ancient Stone Key: <\/span><\/p>\n

  1. To begin, teleport to Tanit Camps.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Turn off your internet and enter the locked area at the bottom.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Connect your internet once you’re inside the locked area, and the Precious Chests that are inside will appear.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This bypasses the need for the Ancient Stone Key and gives you the awesome rewards that you can get from the Precious Chests inside.
