Developer Tango Gameworks and Bethesda revealed Hi-Fi Rush<\/a> and released it during the Xbox Developer_Direct showcase on 25 January 2023. This means there’s still a lot of confusion about the game, including gamers asking if Hi-Fi Rush<\/a> is available on Xbox One consoles or PS4\/PS5.<\/p>\n

Is Hi-Fi Rush Playable on Xbox One?<\/h2>\n

When Hi-Fi Rush was revealed on 25 January 2023 and launched moments later on PC and Xbox (also available for free via Xbox Game Pass<\/a>), the developers noted it was only available for PC and Xbox Series X\/S consoles.<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, there is no indication that Hi-Fi Rush will become available at some point in the future on the previous-gen Xbox One family of consoles. This includes the Xbox One X. <\/p>\n

While a reason has not been confirmed, the developers did make it clear in the Hi-Fi Rush PC system requirements that: <\/p>\n

In Hi-Fi Rush, the music track and audio triggers are heavily tied to the actions in the game. Due to this, maintaining a stable frame rate is strongly encouraged to prevent unintended latency or momentary desyncs from the music. The game is designed to play at 60 frames per second, so be sure to check your monitor’s refresh rate and other capabilities to prevent potential desyncs, frame drops or the action feeling ‘off’ the music.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If we had to take an educated guess, Hi-Fi Rush is not available on Xbox One consoles due to the need for a stable 60 fps, something that the previous-gen consoles can’t really deliver.<\/p>\n

Will Hi-Fi Rush Release on PS4\/PS5 Consoles?<\/h2>\n

At the time of writing, there is no indication that Hi-Fi Rush will release on PlayStation consoles. Due to the game not being available on Xbox One, we highly doubt it will EVER appear on PS4. As for PS5, nothing has been confirmed.<\/p>\n

However, since Microsoft acquired Bethesda, and this is a Tango Gameworks title, there is almost no chance Hi-Fi Rush will release on PS5 either. <\/p>\n
