The next expansion for Destiny 2, Lightfall<\/a>, is less than a month away, and while we’ve gotten a peak into what we can expect from this new expansion, Buingie has given us more to look forward to. A new trailer has been released that reveals what new Exotic weapons and gear we can expect to get from the upcoming Lightfall expansion and if you want to know more, then keep reading.<\/span><\/p>\n

Below we’ll take a look at what’s been revealed in the new Destiny 2 Lightfall trailer, what these exotic weapons and gear will be offering us, and many more details that you need to know. So without further delay, let’s jump right in.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Destiny 2 Lightfall Trailer Reveals New Exotic Weapons and Gear<\/span><\/h2>\n

Aside from the Quicksilver Storm, the pre-order bonus that players can get from this new DLC, this new trailer promises us way more goodies than we initially thought. Most importantly, it showcases the latest elemental subclass players can get their hands on called Strand. <\/span><\/p>\n

Bungie demonstrated Exotic weapons that can use the Strand element<\/a>, as well as new armor for all three classes. Similar to The Witch Queen, Bungie may tie all three of these armor pieces into the Legendary campaign reward pool, though we’ll just have to wait and see for more details on that.<\/span><\/p>\n

Strand Weapons and Armor Revealed in Destiny 2 Lightfall Trailer<\/span><\/h2>\n

The weapon and armor trailer for Destiny 2 Lightfall recently went live, providing the community with a massive information dump in less than two minutes. This showcase gave us a look at all of the weapons and gear that feature the new Strand element, as well as a look at how they perform in battle, so we’ve broken down each weapon and piece of the gear featured below.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Final Warning – <\/span><\/strong>The tracking rounds fired by this Strand Sidearm look for nearby adversaries.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Deterministic Chaos -A<\/span><\/strong> Void Machine Gun that fires while rhythmically weakening opponents.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Winterbite<\/span><\/strong> <\/span>– <\/span><\/strong>A Stasis Exotic Glaive that hits targets with frost orbs and instantly freezes them leaving them open to follow-up attacks.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Cyrtarachne’s Façade – <\/span><\/strong>This exotic headgear offers supplementary defense as hunters develop armor and grappling resistance.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Abeyant Leap – <\/span><\/strong>With this Exotic leg armor on, Titans can use their Barricade to create seeking projectiles that hang foes and grant their user armor.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Swarmers<\/span><\/strong> <\/span>–<\/span><\/strong> Warlocks can now construct a Threadling to attack foes after destroying a tangle using this new Exotic leg armor.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    As mentioned before, the Quicksilver Storm catalyst upgrade is also shown in the trailer, in which the Exotic Auto Rifle’s grenade kills create Strand tangles that can be thrown at enemies. Season of the Seraph and Moments of Triumph can still be played while you wait for the next chapter in the Light and Darkness saga, Destiny 2 Lightfall, which will be released on the 28th February 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n
