Bethesda has famously made the game series a single-player RPG experience, but Fallout 76 is different. Normally, Bethesda<\/a> games will just have you open up your menu to save your game. After all, it is the most simple way to manually save your game. However, you cannot pause<\/strong> the world of Fallout 76 due to the fact that the game is constantly online. If you are playing Fallout 76, you are online and the world does not stop playing.<\/p>\n

But there is still a way to save your game in Fallout 76. The first thing you need to do is open up your map. From there, you will access the game menu. From that point, simply quit your game<\/strong> to go back to the main menu. Quitting out the game this way guarantees that you log out of the server safely and the Fallout 76 game servers will update and keep a record of what you have done. The game is saved on the servers, so it will not be recorded on whatever system you are using the play the game.<\/p>\n

If you suddenly log out of the game or you crash or disconnect, there is a small chance that your data will not save and you might lose progression.
