Marvel’s Midnight Suns<\/a> have optional missions players can participate in by playing their favorite Heroes to earn additional rewards. Unlike Trials or missions from the T.H.R.E.A.T. Room, Challenge Missions are unique as you’ll likely earn high rarity items but force you to strategize the best course of action to defeat enemies.<\/p>\n

Each playable Hero<\/a> has their Challenge Mission in Midnight Suns, including the game’s first DLC character, Deadpool, which completing unlocks a Legendary Heroic Card. This guide details how to defeat the Whispers of Memory and complete Deadpool’s Fourth Wall Challenge Mission in Marvel’s Midnight Suns.<\/p>\n

How To Complete Deadpool’s Fourth Wall Challenge Mission<\/h2>\n

Like the members of Midnight Suns and their allies, Deadpool also has a Challenge Mission to complete, which can be done at your own pace. This optional mission does have a few prerequisites you’ll need to meet before embarking on this challenge in-game.<\/p>\n

Challenge Missions can only be unlocked after the Forged in Hellfire Research project is completed before construction can begin at the Armory. While specific Heroes like The Hunter and The Hulk have additional unlock requirements, you’ll need to have reached the maximum Friendship level with most Heroes for their Challenge Missions to be unlocked, including Deadpool.<\/p>\n

    Deadpool’s “Fourth Wall” Challenge Mission has a few mission objectives. The primary mission objective is to eliminate the Whispers of Memory, which will award you with the Burning Sensation Legendary Heroic Card<\/a>. During this Challenge Mission, you’ll have limitless Card plays; however, redrawing cards and moving Deadpool have been disabled. Lastly, you can fail this Challenge Mission if the turn ends or you have no more Cards left to play.<\/p>\n

    As you’ll likely be using a default deck for the Challenge Mission, the strategy is to target specific enemies that have various cards you can gain from them. We’ve outlined the best steps to defeat the Whispers of Memory and complete the Challenge Mission:<\/p>\n

    1. Play the Spread the Love card to target the two forward-facing enemies, KO-ing one enemy<\/li>\n
    2. Use the Death From Above card on the remaining targeted enemy alive for another KO<\/li>\n
    3. Target the three enemies to your right by playing the Pain Piñata card for two KOs<\/li>\n
    4. Play the Spread the Love card on the enemy still alive following the explosion for another KO and chain the furthermost enemy to your left.<\/li>\n
    5. With two enemies left, play the Death From Above card on the enemy with the lowest health and KO-ing it.<\/li>\n
    6. The last card you’ll have is the Mag Dump which can be played to KO the remaining enemy.<\/li>\n
    7. You’ll receive the Burning Sensation card, which can be played to eliminate one final enemy to complete the mission.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      This will complete the Fourth Wall Challenge Mission, and for your maximum efforts, you’ll earn the Burning Sensation Legendary Heroic Card and the Midnight Sun Legendary Combat Suit. You’ll also earn the “That Special Feeling” Achievement and Trophy<\/a> for completing Deadpool’s Challenge Mission.<\/p>\n
