The grand final kicked off on Mirage, which was MAD Lions’ map pick. Despite starting both halves with good streaks, MAD Lions crumbled on the CT-side and lost the first map 16-13.<\/p>\n
The Danish team then hit back by winning Inferno with the same scoreline. MIBR dominated the CT-side on Train and led 12-3 at halftime but MAD Lions came back in the second half, taking the 16-13 map victory.<\/p>\n
The two teams had previously met in the upper bracket final of the competition, with MIBR coming out on top. With this 2-1 grand final victory, MAD Lions got their revenge and won the first-ever edition of Flashpoint<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo had a good start to the final as he picked up a collateral in the eighth round, killing two enemies with a single AWP bullet.<\/p>\n <\/p>\nThe top five moments from MAD Lions victory over MIBR<\/h2>\n
