As you progress further into the game, you will get your hands on powerful Legendary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/hogwarts-legacy\/sell-gear\">gear<\/a> with unique <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/hogwarts-legacy\/unlock-equip-traits\">Traits<\/a> that you might want to keep around. The only way to keep these gear relevant later on is by upgrading them. But how exactly can you upgrade gear in Hogwarts Legacy? (Picture: Shreyansh \/ Avalanche Software)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Once you have unlocked the Enchanted Loom, you can set it up in the Room of Requirement at the cost of 8 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/hogwarts-legacy\/moonstones\">Moonstones<\/a>. You can use this workstation to not just upgrade but also equip Traits on your gear.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, a gear can only be upgraded three times, with the amount and type of resource required varying each time.
