In Hogwarts Legacy<\/a>, players have access to a wide range of spells<\/a> that they can use to take on challenges and enemies. From the charms taught at Hogwarts to the Dark Arts, players have many choices regarding the type of magic they want to pursue. For example, one of the most powerful spells in the Harry Potter universe is Avada Kedavra, known as the killing curse.<\/p>\n

This spell is one of the three Unforgivable Curses and has been used by some of the most notorious dark wizards in the wizarding world, including Lord Voldemort<\/a>. As players progress through their journey in Hogwarts Legacy, they may wonder how to unlock the Avada Kedavra spell for themselves. This guide will explain how to obtain this powerful spell and what it can do in the game.<\/p>\n

    How To Get Avada Kedavra Spell In Hogwarts Legacy<\/h2>\n
    You can unlock three Unforgivable Curses in Hogwarts Legacy: Crucio<\/a>, Imperio<\/a>, and Avada Kedavra. To obtain these spells, you must progress through the main storyline and complete side missions, specifically the “In the Shadow” quest line. You will unlock this questline after meeting Sebastian Sallow<\/a>, a Slytherin<\/a> companion, and completing a few missions with him (don’t worry, there aren’t any spoilers in this guide).<\/p>\n
    The final mission in the “In the Shadow” quest line is “In the Shadow of the Relic,” where you will learn Avada Kedavra. The recommended level for this mission is Level 28, which takes place in a catacomb where you’ll fight against various enemies. Toward the end of the mission, you’ll fight a final boss, where you’ll get to cast the spell. And in case the description of Avada Kedavra wasn’t clear from the get-go, using it will instantly kill an enemy unit. It also doesn’t appear as though opponents can block it.<\/p>\n
    In addition to learning these Unforgivable Curses, you can unlock Talents in the Dark Arts, such as Imperio Mastery, Crucio Mastery, and Avada Kedavra Mastery, which enhance the spread and power of these curses. With these Talents<\/a>, you can easily take out large groups of enemies by spreading the curses and casting Avada Kedavra.<\/p>\n
