Hogwarts Legacy offers a rich and diverse cast of characters<\/a>, each with unique personalities and backstories. Unfortunately, while protagonist Harry Potter and his friends are not featured, given the game’s 19th-century timeline, there are still many new interesting characters that you can encounter. One such character is Sebastian Sallow<\/strong>, a Slytherin student. But who exactly is he?<\/p>\n

Unlike many of the characters from the Harry Potter<\/a> books, Sebastian Sallow is not mentioned in J.K. Rowling’s original works. Despite this, he is a fascinating and complex character, especially given that he is a member of the Slytherin<\/a> house, a reputation that otherwise precedes him. Who Is Sebastian Sallow?<\/h2>\n
Sebastian Sallow is a Slytherin student who you will encounter relatively early in Hogwarts Legacy. If you’re a Slytherin, you’ll meet him and his best friend, Ominis Gaunt<\/a> (another fascinating character with links to Lord Voldemort<\/a>), in the Common Room. It’s worth noting outright that Sebastian has a particular affinity for the Dark Arts, having mastered the Unforgivable Curses from a young age.<\/p>\n
So when his twin sister Anne was cursed by the goblin Ranrok during his fourth year, Sebastian became convinced that the Dark Arts was the last hope for her, leading him on a quest to unravel the secrets of Dark Magic. When Anne was attacked and cursed by a goblin during a raid on their house, Sebastian became determined to find a cure for her. As such, you’ll grow close to him in his search for a cure for Anne during Hogwarts Legacy.<\/p>\n

    On this interesting journey, Sebastian will also teach you how to use Crucio<\/a> (Cruciatus Curse), Imperio<\/a> (Imperius Curse), and Avada Kedavra<\/a> (Killing Curse), albeit quite late into the game. [Spoiler Alert] <\/strong>After his parents died, Sebastian was raised by his uncle Solomon, who he loathed because he did not approve of Sebastian’s use of Dark Magic. Later in the game, you will learn that Sebastian kills his uncle with Avada Kedavra.<\/p>\n
