Popular CS:GO streamer,&nbsp;Michael &ldquo;Shroud&rdquo; Grzesiek, has weighed in on how Valve might respond to Valorant in a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/mixer.com\/shroud\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">stream on Mixer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_478087\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_975513\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_601446\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_514713\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_564882\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_739493\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"traffective-ad-Content_1_229063\" style=\"display: none;\" class=\"Content_1\"><\/div>\n<p>Rumours have been floating around about CS:GO on Source 2, as both Dota 2 and Half-Life: Alyx using the new engine from Valve. CS:GO, however, still remains on the original Source engine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read more:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cs-go\/cs-go-has-just-beaten-dota2-s-concurrent-players-record-with-1-301-348-players-in-the-game\" target=\"_blank\">CS:GO beats Dota 2&#8217;s concurrent players record<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On his Mixer channel, Shroud talked about the possibility of CS:GO moving over to Source 2:<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Tyler told me that he thinks that this summer Source 2 is gonna come out and&nbsp;<em>CSGO<\/em>&nbsp;is gonna go through a huge overhaul. And that would make sense because&nbsp;Valorant&nbsp;plans to come out in summer, right?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>We expect Tyler who Shroud is referring too is his friend, and ex-teammate from Cloud9, Tyler &#8220;Skadoodle&#8221; Latham. There could very well be some insider knowledge going around, but please remember to take this with a grain of salt until such time as Valve officially reveals a CS:GO overhaul with Source 2.<\/p>\n<p>Shroud continued to explain how smart Valve is with their updates, and new content, talking about what happens when Valve gets competition:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Valve is so smart, they only update, they only do sh#t when they only have to. For years and years and years&nbsp;<em>Counter-Strike<\/em>&nbsp;was just smooth sailing, no competition. Now that there&rsquo;s competition, woo, they&rsquo;re making updates. That&rsquo;s good.
