Dead by Daylight Chapter 27 – Tools of Torment brought nine new perks and three new characters into The Fog. While many of those perks are pretty straightforward, Renato Lyra’s perk, Blood Rush, is a little confusing at first glance. If you’re wondering how to use Renato Lyra’s Blood Rush perk in Dead by Daylight, we’ll explain here how it works.<\/p>\n

Blood Rush – Renato Lyra’s Perk<\/h2>\n

    \n
  • Your mind and body are honed for great feats, allowing you to push through with extra effort when necessary.<\/li>\n
  • Once you are one Hook away from instant death, Blood Rush<\/em> activates:<\/li>\n
  • Press the Active Ability button<\/em> to lose a Health State and instantly recover from the Exhausted<\/strong><\/em>Status Effect<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Causes the Broken<\/strong><\/em>Status Effect<\/strong> for 28<\/strong>\/24<\/strong>\/20<\/strong>seconds<\/strong>, while you are automatically healing back to Healthy.<\/li>\n
  • Cancels the healing effect upon taking damage.<\/li>\n
  • Blood Rush<\/em> is disabled for the remainder of the Trial after use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    How To Use Blood Rush In Dead by Daylight<\/h2>\n

    Blood Rush can only be used once, so you’ll need to use it at the right time to get any value out of it. You’ll first need to have two hooks before you’re able to activate Blood Rush. At that point, you’ll need to make sure that you are also healthy.<\/p>\n

    While in a chase with the killer – or at another time if you choose – you can then press ‘E’ to lose your Health state, becoming Broken for 20 seconds before instantly being healed back to healthy. During that time, though, you’ll recover instantly from the Exhausted status effect.<\/p>\n

    In essence, Blood Rush gives you an extra opportunity to use your Exhaustion perks when you’re near death, but it’s risky since you’ll end up Broken for a while once you use it. To get value out of Blood Rush, activate it when you need a burst to get ahead from the killer but you know you won’t go down in the next 20 seconds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
