The 2020 Mid-Season Invitational for League of Legends has been cancelled, according to a new rumour. <\/p>\n
Speaking on his show Hotline League co-hosted with LCS analyst Mark Zimmerman, Travis Gafford claimed MSI 2020 has been cancelled entirely – stating he was “fairly confident” in the rumour. <\/p>\n
“It should come as no surprise to anybody,” he added. <\/p>\n
MSI 2020 was previously postponed from May to July<\/a> due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has had a major affect on esports events across the world due to travel restrictions and safety measures. <\/p>\n
