Smudge sticks are an item that can be used in Phasmophobia to prevent ghosts from hunting you for a while. You can use them to complete a cleansing of a map.<\/p>\n

How To Use Smudge Sticks In Phasmophobia<\/h2>\n
Using smudge sticks to prevent ghosts from hunting you in Phasmophobia is extremely easy. First, you’ll need to grab some smudge sticks and a lighter from your van and bring them into the map with you. From there, you’ll need to hold the sticks and press ‘F’ – your secondary action button – to set them alight.<\/p>\n
Now your smudge sticks are smoking, meaning that they will work to fend off ghosts – but you’ll need to spread them around for them to take proper effect. To do this, you can either hold them in your hand while walking around to keep ghosts away from you as you roam, or you can toss them on the floor to prevent ghosts from hunting you in a certain area.<\/p>\n
Note that, while ghosts won’t hurt you while smudge sticks are burning, they will instantly become more active – so prepare to see some ghostly events or maybe even have some spooky interactions!<\/p>\n
