Perfectly blending retro pixel art and HD 2D graphics in a 3D environment, the game has a modern finish with a nostalgic gameplay aesthetic. The game will release later this month<\/a> and be available to preload. But is your PC powerful enough to run the game efficiently? This guide details the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for Octopath Traveler 2.<\/p>\n

Acquire and Square Enix have released information for the Octopath Traveler 2’s PC system requirements and game file size. While this will be focusing on the game’s full version, we have yet to determine the game file size for the demo, but you can expect to reserve around 10 GB of storage<\/strong> to play Octopath Traveler 2.<\/p>\n

Preloading will be made available for the game’s PC version; however, it can only be achieved if you’ve pre-purchased it via Steam. Once the game’s pre-purchased, the “Preload” button will appear on the game’s Library page as soon as the feature launches.<\/p>\n

The developers have released the minimum and recommended requirements for your PC to be able to run Octopath Traveler 2. Available on the game’s Steam page<\/a>, the developers have added a few general notes to keep in mind before installing the game.       Some of the additional notes the developers included are that the game at 60 FPS will have an aspect ratio of 1280×720, a low preset, and a 2GB VRAM is required when using the game’s minimum requirements. At its recommended, it will have an aspect ratio of 1920×1080 at 60 FPS, the “Highest” preset, and 16GB RAM will be needed if you’re running the game on an Intel GPU.<\/p>\n

      Players are reminded that playing the game’s Prologue Demo allows them access to three hours of gameplay and all playable characters. Additionally, game saves will be transferred once the full game version of Octopath Traveler 2 launches on 24th February 2023.<\/p>\n
