Blizzard’s next entry into the iconic ARPG franchise, Diablo 4, promises to be the greatest in the series yet. You can use these channels to find others who would like to trade or browse trade offers with ease.

Once you’ve found someone to trade with in Diablo 4, follow the steps below to get the trading done:

That seems quite easy to do. If anything gets changed in either trade window, you will need to click on the Lock in Offer button again.

While there is trading in Diablo 4, and the actual process is quite simple, some item and currency restrictions are in place. First up, in terms of currencies, only Gold is tradable, with all other currencies being locked to your Battle.net account or character.

Check out the table below showcasing which item types are tradeable in Diablo 4 and which cannot be traded at all.

Want to know more about Diablo 4’s item types? Then check out our dedicated guide on all item rarities in Diablo 4, including the ultra-rare Unique items that are making a comeback!

In case you’ve missed it, check out the in-game intro cinematic for Diablo 4 below while you wait for Lilith to return to Sanctuary on 6 June 2023.

Update on 19 July 2023: We've updated this article to reflect the latest information about trading in Diablo 4, including item quality restrictions and more.
