It feels as if every time the earth makes a full trip around the sun, we can expect a new Call of Duty title. Rumours about a new Call of Duty, which is reportedly releasing later this year, are floating around the internet.<\/p>\n

While Activision has yet to confirm any details or reveal the new Call of Duty game, rumours point towards the title being set in the Black Ops universe.<\/p>\n

However, “Black Ops” won’t be in the title. Instead, it will reportedly be called Call of Duty: Vietnam. <\/p>\n

    This rumour comes from a report by TheGamingRevolution<\/a>, explaining Call of Duty 2020 wouldn’t have the Black Ops title, but would still be set in the same universe.<\/p>\n

    The game reportedly takes place during the Cold War era, with the Vietnam War taking centre stage.<\/p>\n

    Now, Kotaku’s ex-news editor, Jason Schreier, who has been known to have insider information for the better part of a decade, has backed up this rumour in a series of tweets.<\/p>\n

    I’m not a COD person so I don’t know anything about all the lore shenanigans or what it really means to be a Black Ops game, but one title I’ve heard thrown around a couple times is just “COD: Vietnam.” As far as I know it’s part of the Black ops series though? Not sure<\/p>\n
