August 24 Update - <\/strong>According to Swen Vincke, CEO of Larian Studios, Baldur's Gate 3 will be released on Xbox 'this year' in 2023. However, if you are an Xbox Series S owner, it's been confirmed that BG3 on Series S will not feature split-screen coop.<\/pre>\n<\/p>\n
Original Story Follows – <\/strong>Baldur’s Gate 3 is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated games for this year. Baldur’s Gate 2 was released way back in 2000 and fans of that game have been dying to play a sequel to that game. Players loved the early access<\/a> version of the game and have been enjoying the full release of the game.<\/p>\n
With the release date<\/a> of Baldur’s Gate 3 come and gone, there are a couple of questions being thrown around. Xbox owners are starting to wonder if Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming to the Xbox <\/strong>or not. Here, we are going to go over exactly that detail so Xbox owners can finally have their answer.<\/p>\n
Is Baldur’s Gate 3 Coming To Xbox?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

So far, Baldur’s Gate 3 is going to be released for PC and the PlayStation 5. This is great news for PS5 owners but worrying news for Xbox owners as Sony tends to want exclusivity deals for their games. Larian Studios actually answers the Xbox question themselves.<\/p>\n
In a recent Reddit post<\/a>, a Baldur’s Gate 3 developer went into detail about the troubles they are having with the Xbox version of the game. They claim that they are indeed working on an Xbox version of the game, but there are technical issues holding them back. So technically yes, Baldur’s Gate should be coming to Xbox<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
When Will Baldur’s Gate 3 Release On Xbox?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At this moment in time, it is currently unknown <\/strong>when Baldur’s Gate 3 will come to Xbox. The developers are trying their best to get over the technical limitations of the Xbox but they are struggling. That is why they went ahead and announced the game is coming out on PS5 because they did not want to delay the game for PS5 owners.<\/p>\n
However, it looks like the people at Xbox are now working with Larian Studios to get over these hurdles for Xbox consoles. From what has been said so far, Baldur’s Gate 3 should be released by the end of 2023 for Xbox<\/strong>.
