Destiny 2<\/strong> has just launched the next big expansion for the game and it is called Lightfall<\/a>. Lightfall will not only further expand on the lore and story of Destiny 2, but it will also add a lot of new content for players to enjoy. Lightfall is one of the most anticipated expansions for Destiny 2 in a long time.<\/p>\n

From all the new treasures<\/a> that players can find to the missions that were added, there is a lot to go over for Destiny 2. One of the key missions for players in Destiny 2 Lightfall is the Downfall Mission. Here, we are going to give you our walkthrough for the Downfall Misison<\/strong> in Destiny 2 just in case you were having trouble in this particular mission.<\/p>\n

Destiny 2 Lightfall Downfall Mission Walkthrough<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Downfall is one of the missions you will do during the campaign of Lightfall in Destiny 2<\/a>. Your goal is to attack Calus’ Fortress Ship<\/strong>. You will need to reach the Typhon Imperator which you can reach with the help of your Sparrow. Once you hit the suppression field, you will be swarmed by enemies that you will need to take out. You can defeat these enemies as soon as they spawn so they do not end up attacking you.<\/p>\n

Once you defeat the enemies, make your way into the ship. You will see a treasure chest and a black crystal. You will want to shoot the black crystal<\/strong> to open the barrier. Continue forward and eventually, you will see a drop. Take the drop downwards and continue down the hall. You will once again see another large drop. Go down the drop and take out the enemies that are waiting for you at the bottom.<\/p>\n

Once you have cleared the enemies, you will need to climb upwards toward a doorway on the left-hand side. You will need to use the pillars in the room to climb upward. You will see a room with golden pillars. Climb up these pillars<\/strong>. You will see an exit towards your left.<\/p>\n

From there, you will need to do some more platforming but do not fall this time<\/strong>. You will be platforming over a bottomless pit so be careful. Head towards the right and then you will use even more golden pillars to reach the top. You will have to take out enemies in the next room that has a statue of Calus.<\/p>\n

Once you take out the enemies, you will see more black crystals. You will need to shoot the black crystals<\/strong> to take down more barriers. Continue forward and take the gravity lift<\/strong>. Once you are finished with the gravity lift, continue forward using the pillars to reach the next room.<\/p>\n

The next room is much larger and you will have to defeat all the enemies here to continue. Once you do defeat all the enemies, you will be able to grab the Dark Resonance<\/strong>. You will need to take the Dark Resonance to the other side of the room which will help you destroy Calus’ ships.<\/p>\n

From there, the boss known as the Tormentor will spawn<\/strong>. You will have to take out the Tormentor by keeping your distance due to the fact that it has a grab attack that can easily kill you. Once you have taken out the Tormentor, you will have to shoot another black crystal next to a door to continue your progression through the Downfall mission.<\/p>\n

More platforming across pillars<\/strong> is needed to be done. Once you do that platforming challenge, you will get on another gravity lift. The next room is sealed off by more black crystals which means it is time to shoot them again. Once you do that, another pillar room is waiting for you.<\/p>\n

Continue forward until you reach another door sealed off by crystals. Shoot the crystals again to continue forward. You will then reach a room that has frozen Shadow Legion soldiers<\/strong>. There will be a small platform that you can jump on. Jump on that platform in the middle pillar to continue forward.<\/p>\n

From here, it is time to deliver another Dark Resonance. This time, tougher enemies will spawn during this section. We suggest you take out the bigger enemies first<\/strong> as they will be the ones who will likely kill you during this portion.<\/p>\n

You will need to slot two Dark Resonances in this room. If you manage to do that, you will be rewarded with a Strand<\/strong>. Use your Strand to clear out the stragglers and then use your sparrow to escape. Your exit will reveal itself soon. Head towards the exit and you have completed the Downfall mission.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
