While finding fresh, clean water and consuming cooked food can help when facing deadly enemy threats<\/a>, you succumb to some injuries, and taking meds will replenish some of your health.<\/p>\n

Aloe Vera is one of the plants used for making meds; where you can find them will take some time and navigating the island grounds. We’ve detailed how to find Aloe Vera to make some meds in Sons of the Forest<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How To Find The Aloe Vera Plant In Sons Of The Forest?<\/h2>\n

Aloe Vera is an essential ingredient in crafting medicine or Health Mix in Sons of the Forest and can be hard to come by. Spawning in somewhat random places, there are a few known spots where you can farm them to acquire the seeds.<\/p>\n

Aloe Vera can be found in these locations on the island, with the first being near the bunker cave<\/a> with the 3D printer<\/a> on the island’s west side. Look for a plant with no stems and relatively robust leaves which can be harvested, as they’re often found in clearings making it easier to spot.<\/p>\n

Head slightly east from this bunker across the river, where you can find more Aloe Vera spawning, which you can collect. Additionally, if you head south from the previously mentioned bunker location, following the river flowing here, you can find more Aloe Vera to farm.<\/p>\n

On the island’s eastern side, locate the cave entrance on the banks of a river<\/a> and go south, where you can find more Aloe Vera. While it’s not guaranteed that they’ll spawn here, it’s worth venturing out to this location as you may get lucky in getting Aloe Vera seeds.<\/p>\n

Another great option is to gain Virginia’s trust<\/a> before she becomes your NPC companion, and like Kelvin, it can be helpful. Once you have enough trust, you can give her items like weapons and clothes, and she’ll gift you valuable items, which include Aloe Vera.<\/p>\n

How to use Aloe Vera is one plant required to make medicine in Sons of the Forest, as you’ll also need Yarrow flowers for crafting. As you can also gain Aloe Vera seeds when farming the leaves, these can be used to plant and grow more Aloe Vera, making farming this specific plant more accessible.<\/p>\n
